Applying for an animation job on a cruise ship is easier than you might think.
Once you apply via GetAbroad, we start with an online introduction interview to get to know you, your experience and your personality.
If there’s a good match, you’ll be invited for two additional online interviews with the cruise company. During these conversations, they focus on your energy, communication skills and how you would fit into the onboard entertainment team.
When all interviews are positive, you’ll receive a contract directly from the cruise company. From there, the visa process and onboarding will be guided step by step, so you are fully prepared before boarding the ship.

Please note that candidates must be eligible to apply for a U.S. C1/D crew visa.
This visa must be applied for personally by the candidate at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate, as it is required to board the ship in Fort Lauderdale (USA) on April 26.
Guidance will be provided during the process, but availability for the visa appointment is the responsibility of the candidate.

The contract runs from April 26, 2026 until October 23, 2026.
During this entire period, candidates are living and working onboard the cruise ship.
