Have you always dreamed of working with horses in the real Australian outback? This is your chance! With Get Abroad’s Working with Horses Program, you’ll spend 4 to 12 months working on a horse ranch in Australia. You’ll receive full training to prepare you, and after that, you’ll have a guaranteed job for up to one year!

What will you do?
Your journey begins in sunny Brisbane. After arrival, you’ll have time to settle in, meet fellow travelers, and take care of all the necessary paperwork. On Monday, your 5-day training kicks off at the beautiful Hidden Gold Homestead, where you’ll learn all the skills you need for life on the ranch.
- During the training, you’ll learn:
- Horse riding (even if you’ve never ridden before!)
- Mustering cattle on horseback or by motorbike
- Sheep shearing
- Animal care & feeding
- General farm maintenance
- Helping with housekeeping on the ranch
- Working with young or traumatized horses
